ThyssenKrupp Traction Elevator @ Roanoke Community Hospital Roanoke VA

This is the main elevator in the hospital. This hospital is no longer really a hospital. there is an urgent care center on the 1st floor and most of the upper floors are being converted into dorm rooms. Roanoke Memorial has pretty much replaced this obsolete hospital.     Was it a nice Dover Classic, or did it need modernization?

    Btw, that bell is hilarious, even though its annoying! I don’t like the impulse bell with the classic lantern. DOES NOT MATCH!
