These are the staff lifts in the main tower. they are NOT otis like I said in the first photograph of these elevators. Listen to the beautiful dinner bell when i get to the basement

    Outside of floors 3 to 6, it seems the elevator doesn’t know it left the previous floors, in both directions.

    That buffer you see …
    That buffer you see on Lobby Level is a battery operated one. That one looks like on of the back-up ones and is used in the main hospital. The switch on the left turns on the power, the switch in the middle turns on the pad driver and the one on the right raises or lowers the pad.
