Westinghouse Traction Staff elevator @ Roanoke Memorial Hospital Roanoke VA

This is the staff elevator at Carilion’s Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke VA. I know I said community, but it is the memorial hospital, anyway still a cool elevator! It is still relay controlled and has the classic Otis feel. The buttons were replaced (by Schindler) in the late 90s according to an employee in the hospital.

    I have only seen one hitachi elevator and it was in Honolulu HI. As far as Fujitech, I have seen others on youtube, but none around here.

    Your videos don’t feature names like Fujitech or Hitachi…are they non-existent there?…I may take a vid of my flat’s elevator it’s a fujitech installed 2 years ago.

    I’m tellin ya deez, you better quit roaming around hospitals!! They might think that you escaped from their psychiatric department ;) If I was an employee there and saw what I just saw in this video, a long fingernailed freak with a toy train in the staff elevator, I’d be like “security, one of our patients from the mental health department has escaped and is in our elevator! please bring the straight jacket ;)
