how do I go about being a Hospital volunteer?

I thinking of starting a physician assistant career. I hear that having previous hospital volunteer experience is recommended. How do I get that?

You can just go to a hospital and ask for the Volunteer’s Office. My daughter volunteered at a hospital for two summer. She just went to the office and told the people there that she wanted to be a volunteer. She got the job right away.
