mental health technician at a psychiatric hospital?

I start working tomorrow as a mental health technician at a psychiatric hospital, & I don’t really know what to expect. The human resources lady didn’t really tell me anything except for to be there at 11:30; she didn’t even say how long I would be there until.

I also have no idea what to wear.

Can anyone help me out?

I’d come casually dressed for business.
Most people in a psych hospital are medicated and harmless.
Most have no family who cares for them.
