Can my SSD be garnished by the Veterans Hospital for past medical bills? jamiejuhase@yahoo.com?

I have medicals bills that went back 2 years and now they want payment out of my social sercurity disablity benifits. They just picked that amount they wanted and didnt matter i dont have money but SSD

If your a veteran and had received services for a non-service connected disability, you will have a co-pay. You can call the Department of Veterans Affairs and they will look the bill over with you on the phone. I have to say that by far, it is a fraction of your monthly income to be paid. If you ignore them, they will just take it all from you at one time or until it’s paid in full. if you call them, they will work it out with you.
