Broadcast 5/3/2005-Channel 12 TV News: Ignoring critical monitoring alarms in the ICU(Intensive Care Unit)at the Robert J. Dole VA Hospital in Wichita,KS. Our US Senator Robert’s and Congressman Todd Tiahrt’s refusal to investigate, BIZARRE!!! But maybe this is normal for Kansas: the home of BTK(the serial killer), the toilet seat lady and stepping over murdered convenience store clerks to get a pack of cigarettes. How can we let this injustice and criminal behavior towards our veterans continue??? The problems date back to the early 1980’s when VAMC was on strike by combat veterans who reported the travesties at Lyons VAMC New Jersey. The Secretary of V.A. ignored the protests and problems. Actually, the Secretary ignored the protests of veterans and dedicated staff.
